Sponsor Child Update

We received a letter from our sponsor child, Immy, yesterday. We have sponsored her for a few years now. We continue to sponsor the same child until she leaves the school or finishes. This is our second child in Uganda. Our first child moved away, so we were given a new child. We send money to Immy and her family throughout the year and she or her mother always write us to thank us and tell us how the money was spent. It's been a very rewarding experience to hear what they buy. A lot of the time, it's food. I was especially touched when we found out that one of our monetary gifts was used to pay her school dues that she didn't have the money for at the time. The picture below is the latest of Immy (in yellow) and her family. She mentioned they bought a small radio in her letter and we are thinking that is the one in the picture.
