Tonight's Sunset

While most of our family and friends are weathering the cold temperatures, we are having very pleasant weather for January. It's usually still raining in January, kinda makes me nervous for what's to come this year. Anyway, we enjoyed this sunny weekend at the beach with friends. Mike snapped a few pictures of our awesome sunset this evening from our house. By the way, that is the ocean in the second picture.

I get a little behind on stuff now that I have a new job. For those of you that don't know, my pharmacy was closed while we were on vacation in Italy. They closed it due to lack of profit. I had to look for a new job when we got back from our trip. Thankfully, it didn't take me long to find something, but it has taken a little while to settle in, learn a new system, and get back on track. I had the luxury of being online a lot at my last job, but not so much anymore!

Colorado Ski Trip

We had our annual ski trip this year in Colorado. We left New Years Day and were delayed an hour, because the pilots didn't show up. The funny thing is that they announced we were fogged in and couldn't leave, but we heard other planes taking off and landing. Their announcement didn't go over so well.

We rented a condo in Frisco and skied at Copper Mountain on Friday and Breckenridge on Saturday.

Christmas with Theresa's family

We drove up to Lee's Summit to have a late Christmas with my family the Saturday after Christmas. It snowed a little that day, so it made my trip! It was great that all my aunts and uncles were together this year. I hope the tradition continues and more of my cousins are able to be there as well. I have some pictures of the family, but they didn't all turn out so well for some reason.

Christmas with The Blundells

For Christmas, we went back to Missouri to stay with Mike's family in Joplin. With all the travel delays, we lucked out only having an hour delay when leaving on Christmas Eve. It was a nice trip spent with family.
