We drove up to Santa Barbara and went wine tasting over the past weekend. Santa Ynez Valley is mostly popular for Pinot Noir wine. I'll admit, it's not my favorite wine. It's a pretty valley and we had a great time on our
tour that focuses on visiting sustainable vineyards and wineries. The vineyards that we visited focus on organic and/or biodynamic farming of grapes. Here's an article that explains a little about that:
http://www.mnn.com/food/wine/stories/organic-vs-biodynamic-wine. If you go to the wineries websites, they explain their farming and accredidations as well.
