Happy 2008! There's not much going on with us at the moment. One of Mike's friends from KU Swimming was here last week. Colleen was here for a work convention and was able to join us for dinner one night. She and Mike went to the zoo one day and saw the new baby panda bear, which is a big deal there right now.
Mike is having his PRK surgery (he didn't qualify for Lasik) next week. He's excited thinking about not having to wear contacts any more!
As most of you know, Mike and I are traveling a lot for the next few years. Our big trip this year is Italy! We are planning to be there over our 2nd anniversary in November. We are so excited and have started gathering information and will start booking things this summer.
We have 2 ski trips planned next month. We are going to Lake Tahoe with some friends and then we are going to drive to Big Bear for a weekend. Mike is a snowboarder and has never tried skiing. I am a skier and have only tried snowboarding once and didn't do so well. I plan to try again in Big Bear this year.

It was so great to see both of you last weekend...looking forward to June and the marathon. Well, not the marathon so much, but being in San Diego :)
