We have posted before about us sponsoring children through Christian Children's Fund.
We have been sponsoring the same little girl, Immy or Immaculate, for the past 2 years. It's rewarding to know that we are helping this little girl get an education.
We communicate with her mother, Christine, as Immy is only 5 years old. We recently sent Immy a birthday gift and her mother told us that $20 was equivalent to 35,000 Uganda shillings and Immy got a new mattress for her birthday.
We are looking forward to getting our first letter from Immaculate herself someday!
