Can we go outside now?

I couldn't help snap this picture this morning as I was eating breakfast. We usually have the balcony door open for the cats to go in and out, but with the unseasonably cold weather, we've had to close it more often. The cats know we usually open the door in the morning so they can get out.

They are also interested in the birds that have been coming by to eat our lady bugs. Mike bought lady bugs to eat the other bugs that have been killing our plants. The birds have figured this out and try to come over for a free meal. When the cats are on the balcony, the birds get a little upset and sit and wait for them to go away.
